Have you ever wondered where is the center of Europe ? Well, the answer is: in Lithuania, near the village of Purnuškės, 26 kilometers north of Vilnius, the capital of the country. A column of white granite, on which top stands a circle of 12 gold stars (a symbol of the European Community) is the geographical center of Europe agreed by the French National Geographic, allowing the inclusion of Lithuania in the Guinness Book of Records.
